So the latest one is the most accurate or or do each show different CME's ? I'm totally confused about what happened to the CME shown in this one ?

Hey guys check this out and tell me if you know whats going on, i'm at a loss for whats going on here...

[link to www.n3kl.org]

It seems the magnetosphere has been compressed enough to start to allow variable magnetic fields exposed to the low earth orbit satellites, the last time this happened we had that Kp=8 storm. But the magnetic fields were exposed to -175 nT.

[link to www2.nict.go.jp]

simulation shows nothing, I don't know where this is coming from.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1512633

ooo oo tom look at this
do you remember the last time we saw the spike drop on the magnetometer?
we all thought it was a mistake or broken data
then all hell broke loose
i remember it happening not to long ago, but can't place my finger on the time frame :/

[link to www.swpc.noaa.gov]

im thinking around Aug 12th ish
 Quoting: NiNzrez

I remember...it is in my clutterd mind there somewhere. I have been looking at these proton spikes and other electron fluctuations as well...hmmm

see this..big spike..and now it is starting to climb fast.

It was the Xflare that combined the last CME with it and we had a previous CME about 12 hrs prior. Caused a Kp8 storm. I think guys were about to go on a ride the next few days.

They update the simulation with the latest CME. That CME was reall too far off the Eastern Limb to do anything. It just bounced/slid on by.
