Good morning and Namaste to all. especially when it has been tilting south A LOT lately..don`t know This first CME was from earlier in the day on the 7th then the one from the X 4.5 flare. Everyone was really expecting them to be more merged. I believe this one was pushed forward by the larger one behind it thus we see the great increase in wind speed, otherwise it would not have gotten here so fast because it did not leave the disk with a plane of sky speed fast eneough to have made it here by its self already. The density just isn't there. Even with a low density this CME could have created a larger storm if it had been oriented from - to + but it is not. Because this CME is charged from + to - it is not able to connect with our magnetic field very well. This was only supposed to be a 6 hr storm. When this bigger one hits later today things are going to change.
