This is what sparks up the Aurora Borealis. Hugh---why is the K index so low...protons are low also...?? Hey, Look'n, if you have bino's or a smaller moon-scope, please check out the moon. It's probably nothing, but I stepped outside and thought I could see a cloud of dust around the Moon. Of course it's most likely chem-stuff in the upper atmosphere of Earth, but just maybe.... MOON DOOM....hmmmm. [link to www.nasa.gov] ![]() ![]() ![]() I`m at work brutha...plus it`s so foggy I couldn`t see 50 yards in front of me. he he...otherwise i would..."Moon Doom"...luv it..lol |

This has been red/white for at least the last 24 hours but now it's huge. What's going on? It's the CME impact from the Long Duration Event (M 8.4 Flare) That's from the Jan 23rd CME, so it happens from time to time. Anyone watching this particular CME, the ACE satellite gives you a little look ahead [link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] as it's further toward the sun. I think about an hour. Thanks Starwind for this NICT simulation from 1/23/12, I must have missed that one. Just incredible !! Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it ~ Andre Gide |

Ive tried to read back and find out when this CME is due to hit but have gotten lost in the posts ..,. I have to work backwards from your time and I dont get utc.. yes Ive tried lol, but my brain is full and I have no more room LOL.. so could someone (bats eyelashes and smiles big) please give me estimated time of arrival in usa eastern time so i can work out when its due to hit us here on aussie east coast.. also, if someone could be so kind as to answer if sun side or night side matters with a cme.. i cant remember lol.. which is pretty typical of my brain atm.. Thanks guys... love ya guts! Enchanted Wanderer It's been hitting for an hour now, it wasn't due for awhile yet. Ahh ok, so candles ready then lmao... well fingers crossed.. no glitches this side of the world yet.. any idea on the night side vs sun side issue? is it going to be worse for you guys over there?.. Oh and if anyone knows, how come we dont see aurora here in oz lol.. i dont know why i suddenly want to know that.. but it popped in my head so out it comes in print :) Enchatned.. Hello Enachanted! | Anonymous Coward User ID: 10379198 03/12/2012 09:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Guys, jokes aside, this is probably the most critical period in our times. Something is out there, it's HUGE and it's screwing around with our Sun. Our magnetosphere is taking one hellova beating because of those huge CMEs. From observing other videos and many NASA footages, I personally think the Sun is 'conscious' in the sense that whenever any objects go near it, it reacts and seems to react in a defensive manner by letting off CMEs towards the objects. I'm seriously worried. The most annoying truth is that our bloody governments or their own-funded "renowned scientists" and "experts" won't tell us jack because it will make them look stupid etc. Whatever the reason may be, we are all on our own. They don't give a penny about us. |
