Hey there 88 : )

Do you know what the White in this image from the Fok Ring Data represents [link to iswa.gsfc.nasa.gov:8080] ?
 Quoting: Spittin'Cesium

Nah mate i dont, but check out the pattern its making...like domes coming from the earth..!!wtf
Is this the reason for the lines on the mag chart? They have deployed some sort of weapon/defense system around the world? Bit far-fetched i know...but havent seen that before either.
Peace
 Quoting: nerdrage88sasr

I know,strange hey!?

I saw the spectral lines on the HAARP also..could be related as the 'Flower Petals' in that Fok image do appear to be at Ionospheric Height.

Hmm?
 Quoting: Spittin'Cesium

As always, more bloody questions than answers....keep plodding along mate and keep up the good work!

Sunspot 1504 has a 67% chance of producing a M flare and a 69% of producing a X flare
[link to spaceweather.inf.brad.ac.uk]

We also need to keep an eye on Sunspot 1506
Region 11504 [S17E41] developed adding spots and penumbral area. The region is fairly compact and may be capable of producing M flares.
Region 11506 [N11E52] developed slowly and currently has a weak magnetic delta structure in the expanding large penumbra. An M class flare is possible.

Good moring, SunQueen! worshipsun4454

I was going to say I have a hunch we'll see an X-flare soon from the south. Don't forget about 1507, it also looks capable of M-flares and it''s already facing Earth. All three regions in the SE are growing fast, somethings gotta give soon, IMO.

AR1504 has already produced 3 M-flares and that was 3 days ago when it much smaller. Look at how big it's gotten in over the past 72 hours.

Did you mean Solar Wind?

If you did then I would have to say that no,it was rather low..400kms.

Much Respect to you Pools of Light.

When I looked at it on the 11th it was much higher than 400kms, so not sure what the problem was/is. :)

All good though, as it is in flux. hf

INFO FROM SIDC - RWC BELGIUM 12 Jun 2012, 1202UT

There was an inhomogeneity in the solar wind noticed by ACE. The geomagnetic field imbedded in the solar wind was such that a minor geomagnetic storm at planetary levels occurred. Locally, the K rose up to 4. The sunspot groups present on the solar disk are expected to continue to flare in the C-level.

Guess I fell asleep on the job last night and missed a full-halo Type IV CME. I'm supposing it was from a major filament eruption since there were no big flares. The CACTus details show a very fast max. velocity of nearly 2000 km/s.

[link to www.sidc.oma.be]

SEEDS SOHO-based CME movie:

[link to spaceweather.gmu.edu]

Two more filaments in the south can be seen lifting off in this H-alpha movie, one on the east limb and one in the SW. However these two events were much later than the halo CME noted above.

[link to halpha.nso.edu]

NASA CME cone cygnet shows a glancing blow coming, but I'm not sure what event this is for.

[link to iswa.gsfc.nasa.gov:8080]

So far there's no prediction of arrival time.
