It's cause of those Open Coronal Holes. hun the Xray flux is from Flares, not coronal holes Coronal holes do not cause Flares and the xray fulx chart is a monitor for Solar Flares It is not dropping below the C zone because the region is having a storm Thanks for clarifying that. Did you see all the open coronal holes? When i did a search on [ link to www.lmsal.com] I did not click on everything on the left, because i just wanted to search the coronal So i clicked all the coronal monitoring and did not see any but i do see some possible ones here [ link to www.solen.info] along with a nice sized filament in the southern 5 O'Clock area
