Hey NiN
Looks like we got some exciting things going on today... Nice thread by the way, took me a while to catch up (slow saturday morning).
So, by the looks of things activity is way up and we have 2 (?) inbound CMEs at the moment? Forgive me if I'm mistaken, currently operating in retard mode. What I gathered is they'll both be arriving tomorrow and on monday...
Next question.... This massive filament, the length of it double the distance of the earth to the moon, sounds pretty ominous... wasn't there a correlation between earths magnetic field and a backside CME a week or so ago?
And one more quickie... We have 2 syzygys (when 3 or more astral bodies align) coming up tomorrow, Earth with Mercury and Jupiter as well as Mars with Uranus and Comet Elenin. Do you think these two events could be the cause of this gigantic filament we're seeing and is it possible the earth could move into position within its path should it produce a hyder flare...?

The location of it was close to our "foot point". That is part of why I posted the CCMC model for further understanding of this phenomena. But it wasn't a week ago if it's the one I am talking about it was around march 21?..23?.
