I am NOT convinced that this is Jupiter!

I also learned the hard way years ago not to get caught up in others' hysteria...lol, sure does save one from a lot of emotional vomiting.

I had started a post about this, but it went long and I decided to post it as a thread. After I do get it posted in a minute I'll link it here because it does directly have to do with the above quote...and because this was the jumping off point for me to finally find the words and manner to share what I've been poked (by spirit) to share.





Because of the article posted on the following thread, some scientists aren't sure that we're going to get sun doom. They're speculating quite the opposite for our future: A Little Ice Age...*gasp* a tragic situation for sun doomers, I know, and enough to wreak havoc in y'alls ready-room-heads.

I don't know the truth value of the article and what they're speculating. They have so little (almost none) past reference to draw on, so really, it is a lot of speculation, and of course (for the wild conspiracy theorist) it could be some kind of disinformation campaign.

One way or the other, its timing makes for an interesting article to peruse. Your above comment made me think of it.

If anything, broham, you might get a chuckle from reading, ahem, one of the posts on there... I won't say whose post it is, though.

I soooooo wish you could send some of that heat over here. Been wet and windy for days and days now. Think we had our summer in May/June. Two weeks of heat and that was that!

We Skype with my wife`s brother who lives over there in England...he says it`s been in the 60`s...I would trade in a heart beat..lol...

Not very good for ripening those tomato plants though!

My Gf and I will be up in your neck of the woods at the end of July Ninz...Doing an extreme race...Whats the sun supposed to be up to then, or can forecasting go out that far...or is there even forecasting solar phenomenon accurately?

Still don't think this is Jupiter!

Whatever ist is is getting bigger as it is moving towards the sun and coming into frame. SOHO is STILL having missing data and lapse of times. Also not able to get but about 10 frames to show in movie mode. Can't post a link to latest because work computer blocks the site.

I have never seen it that big or bright on Soho....We should retrograde the images in their history to see if Jupiter appears like that in the past....then we will know.
