good luck aurora hunters, as i mentioned yesterday this is the best chance to see mid latitude aurora since 2007.

My non scientific hunch is that the kp8 threshold will be exceeded. Land based magnetometers show a spiking deviation (ssc) of just over 150nt. That's higher than even I was expecting.
