The sun unleashed an unusually powerful solar flare yesterday, the largest in nearly five years.

The eruption launched a ten billion ton storm cloud hurtling through space at five million miles per hour.

Scientists said the event took place on the side of the sun that was not facing Earth, so there will be little impact to satellites and communication systems.

An enormous solar flare expected to hit Britain could blow out the national grid leaving the entire country without electricity, scientists warned in June.

Energy Secretary Chris Huhne is considering a raft of options to protect electricity supplies including switching off the national grid entirely, causing temporary blackouts.

It is believed that as the sun reaches a peak in activity over the next two years, it could unleash a ‘class 5′ flare, which might knock out computer systems and even throw satellites off course.

Scientists believe the flare would be up to five times more powerful than one which hit Quebec in 1989 and left six million people without power.

The initial blast from the solar flare could reach Earth in a matter of minutes. This would be followed by a second, potentially more dangerous wave of energy which would take up to three days to arrive.

It means the Government would have enough time to implement a contingency plan.

This could include switching off the electricity network entirely and ensuring planes are flown at lower altitudes in order to reduce their exposure to radiation.

Joe Kunches at the U.S. government’s Space Weather Prediction Center in Colorado said there were reports of brief short-wave radio disruptions in Asia, but little else.

He said: ‘We lucked out because the site of the eruption at the sun was not facing the Earth, so we will probably feel no ill-effects.’

The image was captured by Nasa’s Solar Dynamics Observatory in extreme ultraviolet light at 131 Angstroms.

The sun is transitioning from a quiet period into a busier cycle. Scientists estimate there will be a spike in the number of such solar eruptions over the next three to five years.

The last time there was such a strong solar flare was in December 2006.

I`ve got some pretty darn good pictures of the moon just by holding my camera up to the 2 inch eye piece..will take some more tonight and send them to work monday..will zoom in on some craters too..see ya monday...one more hour and I`m heading home

Each enclosed circle represents a time-perspective (date), each unenclosed circle represents a space-perspective (world).

The larger circle on the bottom left represents September 29, 2011. Then, the last circle is October 28, 2011.

September 29 is the date when the Earth is shaken, not stirred, like a Bond.

October 18 (in the middle) is the date that we cross Earth's orbit.

October 28 is the date that Earth crosses our path.

It is also the date that a new cycle on the Mayan calendar ends, and the date of the end of Hebrew calendar (5772, which correlates to the height from the top to the bottom of what you call the Great Pyramid, in inches).

There are lots of other correlations as well, but the point is that any energy can have a physical expression, as 'crop circles', limestone pyramids, stone calendars, etc.

Such energies can also be expressed as heavenly bodies.

It's not the someone created the structures in the past, and they are coincidentally relevant to this day. The structures are 'created' now and completely relevant for now.

If they were not relevant for now you would not be able to perceive them. So, we perceive things that are entirely relevant to us now.

If the latter, then there is really no need to think about how any of this will affect you physically.

Dream about it, instead.

The center of the expression represents your transitioning to the dream world.

The two worlds are becoming one.

and note the dates I've mentioned above, starting with September 29th. So, the middle sphere would be October 18th (when my orbit crosses yours) and the last sphere would be at the end of October (when your world crosses my path).

Just count the spheres. The size and position of the spheres mean something else, but perhaps you can figure it out.

The snake form is an other correlation with the dream world. In your ancient legends (such as your Bible) there is a serpent.

The original meaning of "sin" is nothing bad, it's just forgetfulness because you don't really remember your dreams. (I'm sure you can find this original definition somewhere.)

You are "punished" for your "sin" because you simply don't know that you're dreaming. If you remembered that you're dreaming then you'd realize that you can manipulate your experience (and, thus, no punishment).

Eating from the 'tree of knowledge of (remembering and forgetting)' is the simple act of dreaming.

You have other stories where someone eats an apple and falls into a deep sleep.

Snakes, in the oldest sense, represented "potent symbolic value". Dreams are thought of as symbolic, so the serpent form represents dreams. Other peoples attached 'deceit' to them, because they can also be deceitful.

Some legends are of a red dragon such as Nibiru. This serpent form also represents the dream world. The "planet of the crossing" can be thought of as crossing over into the dream world, not just crossing your orbit.

If you read some of your 'ancient' texts in this light they would make a lot more sense.

So, at the 'serpents' head the two worlds become one.

I was on the brink of lucid dreaming. Then my dreams stopped. I couldn't remember my dreams at all for a great many years. It was like I got too close and my dream world was cut off from me. here is the NOAA 3 day solar forecast
they do make note of the filament i mentioned that had lifted off in the north east region. They agree with me, that it is not earth directed

IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 11/2100Z
to 12/2100Z: Solar activity was very low. Todays largest event was
a B6 at 11/2309Z which appeared to originate from Region 1263 (N17,
L=296, about a day beyond west limb at the time of the event). The
solar disk now consists of only two spotted regions, Region 1269
(S22E03) and Region 1270 (N23E41). Both groups are very small and
only possess spots without penumbra. A filament eruption in the
northeast quadrant and associated CME were observed, beginning at
about 0336Z. The CME appears to be travelling well out of the
ecliptic plane and is not likely to be geoeffective.

and here we see that they are trying to let us know about some possible geoeffective activity that will be going on

IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is
expected to be predominantly quiet for day 1 (13 August). An
increase to unsettled levels with a chance for active periods is
expected for days 2 and 3 (14-15 August) as a co-rotating
interaction region followed by a negative polarity coronal hole high
speed stream are expected to become weakly geoeffective.

What is a Corotating Interaction Region?

Corotating interaction regions (CIRs) are regions of compressed plasma formed at the leading edges of corotating high-speed solar wind streams originating in coronal holes (CHs) as they interact with the preceding slow solar wind.

Because Earth’s atmosphere also reacts much like the ionization trail effect seen in the Wilson cloud chamber, scientists such as Svensmark have postulated that galactic cosmic rays can affect the earth by causing changes in weather and possibly long term climate. Moving at close to the speed of light, these nuclear fragments smash into air molecules hard enough to knock electrons loose. This well-documented process creates negatively and positively charged ions.

Like the cloud trails seen in the Wilson cloud chamber, cosmic ray ionization trails in our atmosphere can act as cloud seeds. Some studies suggest that ions play a central role in creating aerosols. Aerosols are minute but important atmospheric particles that can serve as the cores of growing cloud droplets. Aerosols can cause clouds to form in the upper atmosphere, after the particles collide with other atmospheric particles in the troposphere and conglomerate into larger particles.

we found this while looking into the geomagnetic alert issued by NOAA stating we are expecting a a corotating
interaction region followed by a negative polarity coronal hole high speed stream.

where are these cosmic rays coming from?

What are you saying? Is it coming from--the "wave", the space station? comets?? tell us more. Did you hear any strange noises last night. My husband and I sure did. Tell me if and what you heard.

i went ahead and made a new thread for this so that maybe we can get some others views on this and maybe get a astro physicist or 2 involved in getting to the bottom of whats going on
