I stumbled across this thread from a Google search looking for answers for my mom. My mom has been very sick since March and she’s always been in good general health. We believe solar flare activity is connected to her flare-ups. I haven’t read through this entire thread but I have read a good number of pages which makes me believe I’ve come to the right place.

Since March 18th my mom has experienced the following symptoms;
-Swelling, red rash and tiny blisters leaking clear liquid
-Chills, extremely itchy, hot skin, sever pain and skin appears to be dying

When she flares-up she will be covered with a red rash, tiny blisters oozing clear liquid, sloughing skin and the tissue seems to be dying. During this time she’ll experience server pain (deep tissue pain), skin is in pain (like gasoline penetrated the skin), extremely itchy, swelling (throughout her body), hot skin (sunburn hot) and fever type symptoms however she’s not running a fever.

We feel her flare-ups are connected to solar flare activity. Looking back to March, we remembered a friend noticed her cheeks looked slightly sunburned. Shortly after she became extremely ill. The symptoms appear to be sunburn type symptoms: hot skin, sloughing skin, swelling, tiny blisters leaking liquid with fever type symptoms.

Doctors tested for autoimmune diseases (negative), allergies (allergic to some desert weeds) and they’ve given her ubermeds for a bacterial infection. Doctors treated her with Prednisone (different doses), Hydroxyzine, Clotrimazole cream, Antibiotics (5-days and now 10-days) and steroid shots. These symptoms appear to go almost away and then come back with a vengeance and quickly! It takes weeks for her to get it under control but she has never fully recoverd. Since March mom has spent limited time outside during the day and runs most of her errands at night. Also her flare-ups coincide with the solar flare activity listed on page one of this thread.

I must find a solution for my mom, she’s extremely ill and in a lot of pain. I’m just looking for the thoughts and opinions and will not hold anyone liable for their advice. I’m just reaching out to anyone who can help point me in the right direction. I will read through each post to educate myself on this subject. This is a fascinating thread and site. I'm so glad I found it and I greatly appreciate the folks who contributed.

Did the doctors rule out shingles? This is what it sounds like, and it can be a bitch, lasts a very long time. Google articles and descriptions, and pictures of shingles, and perhaps some forum talk on shingles. The rashes can vary from rash to actual sores... My niece got shingles last spring, and is almost over it now.

Thats exactly what I thought too. They can be VERY painful and itchy. They attach to the nerves running thru the body and cause the massive pain. The description sounds exactly like shingles.
