Its getting closer what the hell is it,This is a freaking RED ALERT HELP.

I believe it's from the CME that is hitting us.

With a quick bit of googling, I found this (Go to Figure 6):

It's basically what's happening right now, you'll notice the dark/light patches fade as they get further away from the sun. I don't think there's any doom here!

i believe it is the CME that is headed our way
sure does look big and at the seep it appears to be moving, looks like it will arrive tomorrow sometime, and not on the 25th as reported by NOAA
i sent Tom a pm about this
because he knows way more than me about HI images
will report back on this ASAP

wow, thats a direct hit to STEREO A

we talk about mainly solar events in here, be most of us watching solar events also watch quakes and volcano's
as well as the effect solar events have on those 2 (along with other earth issues)
for those of you also watching volcano's
Sakurajima volcano in Japan has been quite active for a few months now
but today, the white smoke that has been spewing from the volcano turned to black with an eruption

I'm a novice in regards to Stereo Ahead H12. Dumb question: So Earth is one of the objects depicted in H12 that is in the path of the CME emerging in the frame from the viewer's right starting on or around 10/23/11, correct?

We, Earth that is, are awfully close to that CME which doesn't appear to be diminishing every much. That doesn't look positive...

The large spot east of AR11325 has finally been numbered AR11330. I don't know if that includes both large spots or just one. AR11329 has been assigned to a region on the southwestern limb-but I can't even find a spot there. Go figure. 1330 is one to to watch and will be with us for awhile.
