Another large filament lifting near the polar region off the NW limb pulling a "cobweb" of smaller filaments along with it. This one should show up on Stereo A soon.

With these filaments lifting above and below the one attached to 1334 I am suprised it is holding on.

Crap, I was pulling for it to reach 2--from 1.5 it crept up .1 every minute. Wow, it took more than 30 mins. to peak at 3.7. May be more to come soon.

I link to them sometimes, esp when POES is not updating. Their Auroral Oval can be useful although not as colorful..hehe....

1339 strikes again with this M3.7! Now to see if there was a CME with this one. There will be one soon eneough I am sure. 1339 is overdue for an eruption.

Yes. We will have the return of Region 1314 in the N Hemisphere and it's Sister Region 1316 in the S Hemisphere.

Regions 1339, and 1338 are old Regions 1312, and 1313 respectively.

Tom, there's not much happening in the magnetosphere so far. I think the last CME went out above the ecliptic. I expected it to fan out somewhat and show us some activity. Maybe it's just behind schedule. We did see a dip in the Hp and Electron fluxes, but nothing too extreme.

In the latest couple of images from Stereo A we can see a CME lifting off from aroung the NE limb, 11:00 This one does not appear to be very large, or Earth directed.

I was watching that as well. Things started to happen and then nothing. So maybe we dodged the bullet on that one.
