Here is the Udaipur Observatoty's H-alpha move-you can see that filament on the west-side equator erupt as a strange two-channel flare flashes from 1353 (is this one of those Hyder flares?). The timing and location tells me this is what launched the CME-if so, it will certainly be geo-effective. The flare and the CME appear to be coming from a different side of the Sun, they are not, its only their position in space that gives that effect
