the new fast growing sunspot was named 1422 and
now has a chance for M and X flares
everyone keep an eye on the Xray flux today
i will be working on a blog post with some info from Patrick Geryl
based on his mayan solar prediction dates, he has today and tomorrow tagged for a X flare
he came to these calculations over a week ago when the xray flux was flatlined and no sunspot activity
very interesting to me seeing this new spot jump into the scene right on the dates he has for a X flare
so we will see...
