These three still H-alpha pics show the metamorphosis of the filament in the NE over a 12-hour period.

At first, it seems like a fat blob and then it stretches out--more than doubling in length. Most of the original blob lifts off producing CME; however, the stretched-out part seems to snap around almost to mid-disk. How stable this filament is now, we'll just have to wait and see.
