shadasonic User ID: 10309055 United States 02/29/2012 07:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have read through 10 pages of this thread an what impresses me the most about it is that not a single person posting here seems to have a basic grasp on the physics involved and are for the most part trying to self interpret information they do not understand to any significant degree or at all for that matter, all while pretending they know precisely what is happening and why.. Quoting: Anonymous Astrophysicist 1327060 If a person with 1 160 iq who has dedicated 12 years of his life intensively studying this subject doesn't know, I very seriously doubt any of you do. I hate to piss on your parade, but his is jut the sort of thing that confuses people to the point here they have no idea what is happening. If you have no idea what you are a talking about or what the infiltration you are reporting on means, PLEASE, DO NOT CONTINUE TO PRETEND YOU DO. You are doing yourself and anyone reading your material a great disservice by pretending and making yourselves out to be ignorant blowhards. innervoice 222 I presume? “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” – Carl Sagan |

Once thought to be a fable, the green flash was popularized by Jules Verne in his 1882 novel "Le Rayon Vert" (The Green Ray). Now it is generally known to be real. But what of the even rarer blue flash? Turns out, that's real too. The perfect solar storm happened in the past here in America it fried our telegraph lines. I believe this may happen soon with the sun at its 11 year peak cycle & Mother Earths hole in the magnetic shield will be exposed towards the end of this year. Those two combos lining up may trap a burst in our atmosphere. I believe that's why many Governments are stationed in the South & geared up with stock piles of diesel fuel storage tanks ect. Chazz |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 11198416 Germany 03/01/2012 08:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | mhh SIDC Belgium now: Flaring activity is low.A long duration B-flare occurred peaking at 10:10UT. There was a plasma eruption visible in SDO/AIA 193A. The plasma ejection was not visible in STEREO A or B. A partial halo CME alert was sent by the CACTus software today concerning an eruption on 29/2 visible in SOHO/LASCO C2 at 09:36UT. An EUV wave and Coronal Dimming was seen in STEREO A/EUVI 195A. The CME was back-sided, seen from the Earth. There will be no influence on Earth. A small coronal hole in visible in the southern hemisphere. Last rotation, it didn't produce any geomagnetic disturbances. We don't expect any influence. You guys are the best. I was reading this article this morning, too, and thought I'd share it with you. It's probably stuff you already know, but for those of us who are dummies regarding Solar storms, it might be interesting and educational. Have a fantastic day! Solar storm alert: Scientist finds 12% chance of breathtaking, possibly crippling, northern lights show In the next 10 years, there’s a 12% chance of a northern lights display that’s so grand, people could potentially watch in awe from the sidewalks of Manhattan to the beaches of the Caribbean. The last time the world saw such a widespread aurora borealis was 1859. This future event could well be the event of a lifetime for another, far-less beautiful reason: The solar flare that would set off the dazzling sky display could also leave countless people in the dark by frying power grids, communication networks and crucial satellites. Read more: [link to www.nydailynews.com] However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24 "This man really is the Savior of the world!" John 4:42 Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen. I am the Alpha and the Omega, " says the Lord God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:7 |
