Magnetogram just took a nice jump up...

So, that was the strongest flare in 5 years and, like always, NOTHING HAPPENED!!!!
Not even a minor earthquake today!!
That was quite disapointing!!
Wake me up when there's an X-100 or stronger flare!!
Below that, it's plain BULLSHIT!!!

Sorry to keep asking but is the 3/8/12 picture above correct. Is there another cme heading our way from that blast?

I’m sorry I got too drunk at the company party --> The solar flare disrupted my biological rhythms --> So I forgot to eat dinner

I’m late for work today --> I woke up on time and checked the news and saw a lot of people talking about astronomical news --> I assumed that meant it was Daylight Saving Time so I went back to bed for an hour

Admittedly, that advice I just gave you was pretty terrible --> I’m in a bad mood today --> I just lost a bet about whether there would be a solar flare today or not

I’m going to have to cancel our dinner on Saturday --> My parents are coming into town --> They’re weirdly religious people who worship solar flares and we have a really busy weekend of prayer

No, it doesn't appear to be Earth-directed. Earth is off to the right in the STEREO Behind images and to the left in the STEREO Ahead images.
