So what is hitting us now?

What do we look at, graph wise, to see if the M6.3 released a CME? I keep looking for this but so far can't figure it out? Thanks in advance!

The M6.3 S/F started at 03:22UT and peaked at 03:53UT. Stereo A C2 is updated through 3:54 at this point. It takes generally around an hour after the flare for it to be seen ejecting from around the disk. We should know within the hour if there was a CME with this S/F.

WOW, you're not kidding. It goes from one extreme to another. Looks to be about -18 nT.

Your are welcome! If you choose the Stereo B COR 2 right now you will see this latest CME ejecting from the disk.

I bet you've seen the gigantic solar spot posted on spaceweather.com. If this blows we'll be crispy bacon in no time. HUGE SUNSPOT: Active sunspot AR1429 continues to grow. It is now more than seven times wider than Earth, which makes it an easy target for backyard solar telescopes. In fact, yesterday, David Tremblay of Alto, New Mexico, saw it using no telescope at all. All he needed was a dust storm:

Anybody in U.S. seeing auroras? Im in Michigan, just started to cloud up a bit but could see some def. green penetrating the clouds for a few mins then disappeared.

AWESOME close-up movie of M6 flare. I don't know if it's because of its mid-disk position or what, but this is one of the most BEAUTIFUL flares I've seen.

No pics, I wish i did though. It only lasted for about 2 mins in a few spots. Then the clouds thickened up on me. It sucks man, been crystal clear out until an hour ago right when things might get going.

Same here...was crystal clear, then they started chem trailing.
Protecting us from the sun's effects, of course.
