just a few hours into the xray flux being back in business and we have a "registered" M1.0 flare from a new region in the far southeast limb
who knows how many we have missed while the monitor was down :/
Quoting: NiNzrez Yeah Nin you're right it definitely looked like we were dropping out of a decent flare when it came back on. Quoting: shadasonic Howdy, folks. I had a feeling this new region was gonna be jumpin'. Oh, we haven't missed any significant flares. As I posted yesterday, the purple line on the EVE Diodes plot is roughly equivalent to the GOES red-line flux (not as nice, but we can keep an eye on things). Nothing bigger than B-flares during the GOES outage. The EVE Diodes plot can be found at the EVE Spaceweather page and also at the bottom of the SDO Sun Now page. I only wish we had a better back-up for the ACE data.
