SOLAR WATCH * Huge X8.2 Flare Sept. 10, 2017! (Updated Daily)

That didn't take long...the second M-flare of July 5th in just over an hours time. A vigorous M 2.4 from 1515 again.

Hi, NIN, we had an M1.1 at 00:43utc...see above.

i have not even had a chance to look :/
i am doing the whole 4th of july thing with the family and friends at my place, so been super busy
i keep getting yelled at for getting on here hahaha

i saw that little peek huge, just not sure to add it or not
think i might ^^

and it just did the same thing again
not gona count that one
because its more like the background level is at the M1 range
its not cause there is actual flares

I have never seen anything like this b4.......

Pretty crazy uh? Baselline staying at almost M levels.... Something big in the works.....

This was me a couple days ago, now Im wondering if we are going to "baseline" in the "M" area...??? Would not that be wild?

Plus,IWTB when spotted outside of the Solar CPU Room is never,ever Vertical..had this Man been Horizontal then I might have considered it twice but alas,Beer.

Thinking similar,on the 1 Minute data it has been holding on average the C 4.0 level(from what I can see anyhoo')for the entirety of the Graph,dipping below C 2.0 just once I think : ?

Starting to get some decent proton absorption.

I'm starting to think you might be right, popping little m's but staying in that upper c range. We're getting close to the 60 deg. mark aren't we?

All these Ms' and not a Proton Event yet!?

At least it looks though some of the Interplanetary Protons(supposedly hyperbole)appear to be getting through and are being absorbed..actually,that's not such a great thing : )

I just looked again and the Absorption Map shows a little more aborption..I can remember earlier this Year when(almost)total Absorption filled all MHz on the Db Attenuation graph on the side..the whole Planet was Deep Red!

Oh yeah remember it well , thought for sure our geodynamo core was gonna drop a BIG quake on us. The juxtapose between solar anomalies and quakes sometimes shows so much relevance and others no correlation at all. Soooooo much still to learn thats why i'm here so often!

Look at that chunk of Plasma coming out of the Disc at around 8 on the Dial [link to sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov] !

Must be a CME from that,no?

Something is visable in the same location on here [link to sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov] a backside Flare/CMEor both?

Hey SC I think we'll see something significant within the next 12 to 16 hours. Theres a gradual pattern showing flux action as its baseline increases, like an ever increasing heart rate with a palputation every so often. We're gonna be busy next week also, looks like alot of interesting energy coming round the mountain

We are starting to get the feel of what a solar max is all about. We may not get the x's in number, but a big one is out there!

I agree....something big is bound to come of all this!
