I have some awesome mentors you Hugh, Nin, The Cesium Spitta, and so on... Like I said I should post more on this forum than I do I am here hourly and have been for a long while. I posted at around the million view mark that I should get the lurker of the forum award lol. I just dont want to get banned, lol.. Not getting banned for anything bad just for being an AC and not paying. When I first started following this thread many months ago I posted once and got banned for two weeks. Thankfully I had my phone and other computers I could pop in on. I figured since I posted it was a bot ban, dunno... Since I am going on I want to say I have learned so much and am glad to be here witnessing what we are witnessing. However big or small this may turn out to be. I, too, was a habitual lurker here for many months. I never posted anything until NIN's mishap. I was moved to sign up and try to keep the thread going strong. You may think I'm some kind of "expert" or physicist, but I'm not. I've always been interested in astronomy in general, but almost everything I know about the Sun & magnetic storms I learned right here or by doing a little internet research. Also got swept up in the "regional bans" before I finally became a member to be a part of the Solar Max experience (and so I could post pics of solar events). We're glad you're here to witness the big show....the Universe.   I'd second that : ) Except I was'nt a lurker..I dove right in. Being an 'Expert' if that means Letters after our Names,no thanks,I prefer to learn everything through observation,reading and osmosis. Afterall,we do beat NOAA etc to it often,hence the reason I Name us GASA. Intuition and a little knowledge go a very long way,don't be afraid to use it. By 'us' I mean all who post and lurk here : )
