CME UPDATE: A Coronal Mass Ejection is now visible in the latest STEREO Behind COR2 images. It does look to be Earth directed. [ link to www.solarham.net] here's a gif of the CME [ link to oi46.tinypic.com] looks like an anomaly in the forth frame in the upper right Thanks, RTS, great job! Judging from the time-stamps this is a really fast CME. It usually takes an hour or two to be visible on STEREO B. This flare peaked at 16:52 UTC and the shock-front is clearly seen at 17:10! This could get here tomorrow night or early Sat. We still need more data for a better guesstimate tho.       ..here's an update with three additional frames [ link to oi46.tinypic.com]
