Anonymous Coward User ID: 14296220 Finland 07/13/2012 04:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's the effect of protons on the camera sensor. BTW, if you see sudden white very small dots appear and immediately disappear it is likely proton, electron or some other such particle hitting retina and making visual neurons fire. I've seen 4 of those yesterday and today. oh thats so cool to know I see those things pretty frequently, I'm super super light sensitive. Last day or two I have noticed I see them even not looking at the sky, some of the ones I have seen almost have a blue/gray color. Could it be the same thing? Those which you see when looking at the sky are probably what somebody here mentioned as "floaters". I see those too specially on a clear blue sky by the sea. They move very rapidly and there can be hundreds of them, they look a bit like spermatozoons on a microscope. Maybe personal differences in visual cell structure explain blue, or other colors. There are RGB cells in retina + BW night-vision mode + neuron layer that pre-process their information. That's quite many options for the protons to interact with. |
