AMAZING! Today's CME is so fast that the leading edge is already visible on the latest STEREO A HI2 image. It's not seen on the Behind HI2 yet, so Earth is not in the direct line of fire (so far). [ link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov]  Beautifull clam shell with a hammer inside, sweet CME! Told ya! right? umm hmm, Here we get an opportunity to see (visually),what we just experienced. This is a very close representation to the CME that was ejected from Sunspot Region 1520 on July 12, during the X1.4 S/F.
