after some reading and looking going back to feb and march this year...time when NASA had said the magnetic field had opened...i have been going over the Themis data from aug 17 to now.... there was a large disturbance at 6am on the 17th.....when all the SDO images when offline! then multiple events looking like breaches. i am still trying to learn how to read this, but for now i am relying on looking at time that had breaches in the past and finding patterns. with time i will get better. there is so much data here it is overwhelming! [ link to themis.ssl.berkeley.edu] Thats a very important find Psy, we may be able to start putting certain events together. I saved the themis site,when I get time I need to try and understand it better. We may see some patterns develop that will give us a small heads up to events!
