These things range from SOlar Flare impacts, SW Impacts, PRoton/electron bombardment and even terrestrial causes/signals. as far as i know, there has not been any SF direct impacts that are due to hit us today (although a partial if memory serves)...these show up as large bright yellow 'splotches' on the chart...aS for SW impacts, they generally show up as 'fog' type readings...proton/electron impacts also appear as 'fog'...and as for terrestrial or sat interference, we saw that a couple weeks ago as continous/ regular thin lines... i am definetly NOT calling doom here, and am currently going through data to get a better answer...but i DO expect that something will 'give'..either large eq or major storm event/'freak' somethingorother... we are getting odd readings all over the place..Protons/electrons, Spikes in all sorts of instruments, (especially in the south- as i expected)...i just hope we dont have a large SF earth directed atm...i dont think we could handle it... Glad you asked that, I was going to and forgot. not an ignorant question at all ladies, and the simple answer is no, they can fire it up at different Freq's for different effects...the 2.5Mhz (in my belief) relates to siesmic activity..remember though, that they would not need to 'fire it up' for as long if a volcano/siesmic area is already 'on the edge' of going. different effects could be caused by different freq's for differing times.... gotta love Tesla, (even though he stated that he could destroy the earth with the right freq..) pure Genius.. The launch of the RBSP satellites has been delayed a day, which means he will be coming home a day later. Pushed back to Aug. 24th now instead of the 23rd. They've had him in Florida 4 months now. Time to send that man home to me. I just hope there are no more delays. The satellites are fine and ready to go but they got word that there is going to be some additional testing on the rockets. Meanwhile, I'll catach up on last night's posts and continue to 'try' to understand some of the newer information that has been introduced recently. I hope everyone is doing well today! This is a simple CSO Beta type group at 30 millionths in size. Five regions are currently visible, the largest is 1543 which is a DSO Beta group at 180 millionths in size. This group will rotate of the disc today. Only four C class solar flares took place yesterday, all from region 1548.
