shenue User ID: 5263313 United States 08/21/2012 02:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It amazes me how different these two can be in the placement of the CMEs. Someone gave an explanation for that recently, but I just can't remember what it was. Does anyone else remember or know? Sounds weird I know but would anyone know? ~ Time devours all things, nothing ever stays the same so why get upset when it inevitably changes. Everything is as it should be. Just go with the flow of life. ~ |

[link to iswa.gsfc.nasa.gov:8080] and [link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] Hmm well in this case at least the CME won't show up on the second link since that one only updates for geoeffective CME's :) Edit: Perhaps a better way to word that would be "CMEs with some chance of being geoeffective" Edit2: To clarify, the CME showing on the second link is an entirely different CME than the one on the first link. You can tell first and foremost by the date & time, and secondly by the position and strength. Do it quick, I don't think you're allowed to be off the grid in NY. Any alternate electrical source has to be connected to the grid where we live .... Has old shut in gas well that still has 90plus psi on it should be enough gas to run a small town indefinitely.... Will have wind and solar but keeping that put up until after solar max, also just took delivery of 4 sea containers to bury to put all the goodies that need protecting in.... It's exciting! |
