It may have something to do with the huge CME blasted out the back.

That Lasco 2 shot was at 15:00, same time as GOES started to rise (15:00)

Speaking of backsides (lol) - we have a Blue Moon Aug 31, the next one won't have until 2018. This type of Blue Moon isn't the color, rather that there are two full moons in the same month.
