I bet it is easier for you to type out also! I know it is risky but since the space key is stuck anyway. Try popping it off, carefully so you don't lose the springs that are in there. If you can, then use q-tips to clean the spilled coke, with rubbing alcohol - not water. Not sure if you tried that already, but worth mentioning
