The North-Eastern Beauty is a Beauty for sure! The huge Shield like Field Structure [ link to sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov] that encompasses it is incredible and appears to be related to the recurrent Coronal Hole 536 [ link to www.solen.info] . If you watch some of the Movies here [ link to sdodata.oma.be] you can see hot Plasmas being very slowly fed into that huge structure. It looks incredible to me,also..this structure has been on the disc in the same location for quite a few rotations now.
