Big quakes today and there are numerous 5's all over. Weather patterns are wacky as I talked to our meteorologist today and he said hold on we may see severe spring type storms all the way into december,he seemed stressed!

I think the sun is going to become active earth facing soon. We need some action bad,3 months of elevated electrons are taking their toll. not to mention something real big right now would be very bad!

Glad to see you back Hugh,I'm thinking we've got crazy days ahead!

I hope you're wrong, but I know "crazy days" are already here in many ways. After this hurricane Sandy fiasco, can anyone even imagine the chaos if a third (or more) of the US lost power for more than a week? I hope more folks take heed and learn from others misfortune; to become prepared for sustaining their families and neighborhoods in a crisis. At least with a cyclone we're given warnings; with a solar event, asteroid strike, EMP, nuclear meltdown, EQ, missile attack or (insert DOOM of choice here)--we'll likely see little or no warnings. Prepare now! It's not about me, me, me, me.....it's preparing to cooperate with others and watch out for each other, from babies to elderly folks. Time to re-learn the Golden Rule anew.

I agree, and I know many people not only NYC, but all over the tri state area going above an beyond to assist their fellow man. This is encouraging in and of itself.

The fact is, we simply don't know how many people are dying out there right now, and it's devastating that a country like the US is allowing it to happen .... but yet again.
