Can't wait to see what those buggers look like in SDO images, which looks like it just came back online at 16:15. [ link to sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov] Hiya, 66,  that's great news.  We just had a small filament liftoff in the SE near 1609 and a B6 Hyder flare. H-alpha movie: [ link to halpha.nso.edu] Hey Hugh .... looks like the one just west of it released some ejecta too .... Can't wait for the movie ... lol. Can't get any movie from SDO yet, but there's some weird-ass filament activity going down. Look at that lumpy dreadlock on the east limb and then look at the stuff in the far SE near the sdo timestamp. Wild...in the next frame they've gone or mutated.
