Very interesting 66..do you think maybe what looks like a Full Halo might be due to what looks like a small interruption in the feed causing the directional marks to outlay the streaming SW rather than it being a actual Halo Event?
Having said that,Shads and I were waiting/wagering at what point 1610 would release something as it approached NiNz Magic Corner and looking here [link to sdodata.oma.be
] at the very end it appears that 1610's connections with another region broke as you have pointed out Above, potentially expelling some ejecta, sleuthed me Dear
That was my thought initially about the SEEDS movie, a glitch, but when the "glitch" continued on past 08:30 something, an hour and a half after .... whatever that was , no I think it represents valid data. But of what
My answer to that would be the Radial Motion of the Solar Wind being marked shortly after the glitch - Though I could be way,way wrong : )
I'll await a possible Cactus Diagnostic on that One [link to www.sidc.oma.be
And I'll eagerly await your interpretation of that page. It's all latin to me !!!
I know you can grasp that stuff 66,you are just apprehensive is all
Just click on the Blue Number listed below 'CME' to view the CME on their processed Coronagraph movies from C2 - Below the movie is a Velocity distribution map that shows the differing Speed of the CME depending on which directions it is headed out from.
The key to the gobbledegook is this -
CME: CME number
# Flow: Flow number. Flows are suspicious detections, their color in the detection map is dark blue
# t0: onset time, earliest indication of liftoff
# dt0: duration of liftoff (hours)
# pa: principal angle, counterclockwise from North (degrees)
# da: angular width (degrees),
# v: median velocity (km/s)
# dv: variation (1 sigma) of velocity over the width of the CME
# minv: lowest velocity detected within the CME
# maxv: highest velocity detected within the CME
# halo?: II if da>90, III if da>180, IV if da>270, indicating potential halo/partial halo CME
Edit:We may have to wait a little while for this to be analyzed - If you look on the page the most recent listed CME analysis is from the 16th.
