Aye'. I have been watching the individual updates of the Magnetosphere etc. and it is on,though NOAA only has it pegged currently at KP4,expecting more for sure. Look at the Ring Currents' Boundary(which you can use to judge the Magnetopause stand-off) [ link to ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov] Its' within Geo-synchronous orbit. Yeah that's not good ....
