I checked that just prior to your post and sorta wondered if there are any threads that reference the greatest solar storms on record. it would be cool if somebody did the research and started a thread about it. that is a great source btw here's what I'm sorta talking about [ link to helios.swpc.noaa.gov] 1997-2004 there is SO much data floating around the Internet re: Solar Storms but almost everyone is in the dark for what poses a real threat That's a great link by the way!
