I have seen straight lines before when there has been a very high energy event like a Proton Event and the image is captured at the same time,the Protons etc. sometimes appear as straight line interference on the images,at least I have noticed that. |

There was definitely a CME from the C3.3 flare and probably a big one. Here's the Solarsoft-SDO close-up movie of the flare. The ejecta and shockwave makes it appear more powerful than C3.3 to my eyes.
