Thank you Tinkus  Check out what I just came across on C2 [link to sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov] <--- That is a incredible anomaly,I'm sure One of you may have already mentioned this in the prior pages(I've not yet read through them,shall do now). But wow,awesome anomaly. at the same time on C3 [link to sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov] it would appear that something wized by and it's image was captured Wow - I was literally about to look for that same image timestamp on C3 NiNz,Good Stuff   We see so many anomalies on the Coronagraphs that most aren't worth posting but every now and then we get some real wtf's that need to be shared - It would be nice if these satellites had some kind of instrument that would allow us to better determine just what the constituent make up of these things are,that would be very nice,oh well - Nevermind. Also,if the Polarity is well balanced we wont see too much disturbance in our Fields. Not every CME will have negative impacts or necessarily generate a Geo-Storm,some will just induce slight disturbance without 'leaking'. or could the CME be traveling through something (like dust) that is weakening it?... Bingo! Although these weren't biggies,but even with a fully functioning mag field we would have had more of a particle flux than what we received,somethings off. If you take a look at everything thats transpired over the last 4 months,its way off. The images in the video are models of the Solar Wind and IMF as the Sun spins,the ripples in the stills you pulled up earlier are flat(as we see them)and separate from the Sun,ie. not radiating outward in a radial motion,it is for this reason that I think they are image artifacts and not present. The images look fine to me. You DO KNOW that when you post a "Latest" image it changes in 5 or 10 mins. to a new "latest" image. Please post the actual archive images not the "latest" image. |

Respect. hmm..not sure if you are trying imply that they are all the same so I made a gif. 9 frames total [link to postimage.org] each frame is different including (from the looks of it) the ripples in the NW two of the frames show parts of the CME mentioned earlier I can see exactly what you are seeing but I think what we are seeing is caused by the ripple like shape we see in the corner of the image and what is making it appear like the concentric Circles are rippling is the movement of the background/the changing of Light to Dark as the images run in sequence giving the impression of pulsing,if you get what I mean!? Though,I am still not saying that is what it is,just what it may be...like I said before,I've not seen the Circles/Ripples before you mentioned them. I had to brighten the image to see it and it looks sort of like a mirrored image that has been engraved in a photo editor. Very interesting! I did a search on the movie player and it seems it plays solar radio emissions in 3d? the videos went way over my head even though I watched both twice. I did notice them use the words cosmic rays..so does this mean you think the ripples are originating from beyond our solar system? |
