Quoting: TS66 BGD just needs to rotate a little more,its' surely a Magnetic cacophony that should(should)be wild. look at that growth Sunspot 1623 is now breaking into 2 seperate sunspot regions. one directly on top of the other. This whole area is growing as it rotates into a more Earth directed position and is turning into a monster sunspot region! here you see the regions as it is now [ link to sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov] and here you see it as it was at the beginning of today [ link to sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov] Awesome stuff!
