Spread the word, change the collective conscious...... THERE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH OF EVERYTHING TO GO AROUND When you are undisciplined, the universe is extremely forgiving and when you are disciplined, the universe is extremely generous. Isis One User ID: 14343270 United States 12/11/2012 12:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is a little odd and probably a sign of some kind for myself. Today, after I got home from not getting picked for Jury Duty, (which seemed like some kind of surreal exercise and I think some kind of test), I cleaned a few drawers!!!!!!! It's been at least a couple of years since I cleaned out drawers (not even close to being in the mood). I also went through couple hundred old pictures from past decade that have sat on a bookshelf, untouched for 2-3 years. Also, the crows were out in force this morning, squawking like there was no tomorrow, which did turn out to be foretelling of the earthquakes today. Anyone else doing anything unusual or out of the ordinary for yourself. I guess it had a feel of getting things in order for me. Spread the word, change the collective conscious...... THERE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH OF EVERYTHING TO GO AROUND When you are undisciplined, the universe is extremely forgiving and when you are disciplined, the universe is extremely generous. I get so tired of trying to make some people understand the simplest of theories(no one involved with this thread). I have much to learn but I try and am often wrong, some of the shills really screw with my love of man. LOL need to breath and just get some sleep, you guys are the absolute best! Quoting: shadasonic hahaha i have asked myself that same question many times the way i see it now, is that those who are truely looking for the real answers will find this thread and all the great info thats held within it i believe that if were to take all the posts within this thread, and write up a full article that includes it all, we would be closer to the answers we seek than what we think :) So true, Nin! It starts with the science that's available and then this crew shares observation, speculation and dot connecting with open hearts and minds. There are many brilliant ones gathered here. And, you guys brave to post or start a topic! Its downright scary out there on most GLP threads! LOL. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 28336413 United States 12/11/2012 09:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well filaments are certainly dominating old sol on the 11th. We have one in the NW, one in NE, both hanging on by a "solar thread" ... In the video below you can see both, plus a huge far side event @ 05:30 in the West, filament or flare ??? [link to helioviewer.org] Isis7 brought this to our attention on Gabe's thread yesterday A Halo II eruption at around 15:36 on the 10th [link to www.sidc.oma.be] , but as there is no evidence of an earth facing eruption on GOES, or LMSAL, I initially thought this may be a far side event with little or no effect on Earth. Then observing ang 304 saw that indeed there were 2 filament eruptions off the SE corner in succession the 1st at 13:22, then the second at 15:22. Neither registered on GOES, but the second being a Halo II may have some (I'm not thinking much) geo-effectiveness on Earth. :1steruption: :2nderuption: |

NiNzrez (OP) User ID: 28232082 United States 12/11/2012 01:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ASTEROID FLYBY: Newly-discovered asteroid 2012 XE54 is flying through the Earth-Moon system today approximately 230 thousand km (0.6 LD) from Earth. The space rock is about 36 meters wide, a little smaller than the Tunguska impactor that leveled 800 square miles of Siberian forest in 1908 Astronomers monitoring the asteroid might have noticed an unusual eclipse during the early hours of Dec. 11th. According to calculations made by P. Tricarico, 2012 XE54 "will likely cross the Earth's shadow, causing a partial eclipse of the asteroid a few hours before reaching its minimum distance with the Earth. Asteroids eclipsing during an Earth flyby are relatively rare [link to spaceweather.com] Join Me On The GLP SOLAR WATCH Thread Thread: SOLAR WATCH * Huge X8.2 Flare Sept. 10, 2017! (Updated Daily) |

Howdy, 66 No coronal cavity there as they're associated with filaments. This is a magnetic active region. You can see the loops in the AIA 171 images quite clearly. It's even visible (barely) on the EVE X-ray. [link to lasp.colorado.edu] Maybe these little regions pop up more often than are noticed. Things have been so quiet lately that any little thing gets attention. I just thought that the ARs should be more and more equatorial at this time in the cycle...it just struck me as weird. I think the large number of filaments are the remains of the big rash of sunspots we had a few weeks ago. They're always unpredictable and keep things interesting. We also have a huge coronal hole developing in the southern hemisphere as I'm sure you noticed. |

I believe too that Tunguska did not actually impact earth but exploded in our close earth atmosphere, like a nuclear bomb, (if I don't have it confused with some other event. Also, just watching Toutatis now live on slooth. While watching its odd spin I thought hard to believe it looks like that due to impacts. My thought was, it was a blob of plasma that came off the sun and is spinning and collecting dust and matter and increasing in size and being "shaped" by the force of Jupiter's gravitational forces and that eventually it will grow into a spherical body and maybe one day become a full fledged planet (would take billions of years).
