Haha why would I mind you asking :) Thats what science is all about :) Learning and not being stubborn and accepting and looking at another persons ideas, with proof, which I have none at this moment in time; sadly as im probably wrong.

The booms may be created due to the sun heating the upper atmosphere/stratosphere (which isnt geo engineered) well at least to the extent that the troposphere is. This may then mix with cooler air lower down in the atmosphere creating a boom.

Much like a pulse jet engine works.
