i was just about to post the same thing
from reading most of what the regulars in this thread post, its about answers. not about doom or worrie
im not seeking answers so i can find doom or so i can worrie
im seeking answers because i would like the answers. period
that is the reason any scientist become scientist
Dont mater if you go for your PHD or your a weekend researcher. It about the search for answers that we do not currently have
In fact, we have calmed quite a bit of doom and worrie that some posters have had from events/data that most dont know how to view/read

if your not seeking answers to the cosmic riddles, and you dont like what were talking about in this thread, as friends talk with friends, hit the back button and come back a dif day
its super simple
if you like what were talking about, or have questions about the subject or something productive to add, then chime in and ask/post away. stick around and talk with us about the subject :)
but posting just to post a comment telling us to be quiet and to stop talking about the subject were talking about is pointless and rude
honestly, we could get that on about any other thread on glp

Just watched this on the most recent 'something weird is in space' thread and thought I'd share it here as it gives a six month span video from the stereo telescopes (which I've never seen, ie that long a span). So it gives good reference points as well as intelligently teaches how to research and debunk (which many here have graciously done as well). Totally interesting, thanks for posting, Jupiter makes it's own aurora, and they will be studying how. Plus, I am studying how to use my telescope better so will get a chance now on 12-25 to check out that alignment, thanks again Hugh.

I agree with ya, TS66, AR1633 has been responsible for last 4 C-flares (not sure about the one just now yet).

34 is definitely brighter than it has been, was waiting to call it as all 3 are looking energetic

Just my sharpened solstice intuition upgrade, haha. The combo of 33 & 34 is covering a very large area and may be interacting as well. What do you make of this magnetogram?

I'm thinking we have 3 individual sunspots, and a fourth developing .... the western edge of 33 has redeveloped its magnetics, and becoming more complex, possibly a BGD

there are many unexplained things happening of late.

there are many odd things that we noticed this year.

know why they are happening???? who knows...still....
all of this does not mean doom....nor should we discount anything.

just take note here today how many things even NASA came out with this year which they have changed there stand on.

we here talk about cycles....this world runs in cycles.
this solar system runs on cycles....
this universe must (or i feel) run in cycles.

so an ancient culture's old calendar about sun cycles might hold true...and if it is playing out....why would any of us mere humans with only several decades of life in this universe think a galactic issue will play out in a simple day...a human day....
this day just being a blip, a flash in the life of this glorious galaxy we are traveling though.

Hehe, I think you are right-on! It looks BGD to me, too. It's NOAA who disagrees, LOL. In visible light, the east side of 1633 and 1634 look weaker; but the magnetogram looks more complex and the western edge is growing. I think we'll see an M-flare before it hits the limb.

NOAA had 1633 at 260 millionths yesterday and 1635 at 250 millionths. I'm not sure how they're measuring these things anymore. They both seem the same or bigger than yesterday.

I just re-read my post, let me clarify, I see 3 individual SSs and a 4th developing in the 1633 and 34 Region alone.

As far as sunspot classification, I stopped depending on NASA to make the calls. I'm certainly not as educated, nor presume I'm smarter, some things are just obvious.

wow 1633 is becoming one mixed up mess of magnetism.

i does look like at least 3 growing there.
