NACREOUS CLOUDS: Arctic sky watchers should be alert for bright splashes of color this weekend: The nacreous clouds are back. Göran Strand of Östersund, Sweden, photographed this tiny specimen on Dec. 28th: [link to spaceweather.com] "He sky was dotted with very small but intense nacreous clouds," says Strand. "They lasted for a couple of hours and changed form very often." A close-up photo highlights the vivid colors that are the signature of these clouds.

Noctilucent clouds are first known to have been observed in 1885, two years after the 1883 eruption of Krakatoa.[5][16] It remains unclear whether their appearance had anything to do with the volcano eruption, or whether their discovery was due to more people observing the spectacular sunsets caused by the volcanic debris in the atmosphere. Studies have shown that noctilucent clouds are not caused solely by volcanic activity, although dust and water vapour could be injected into the upper atmosphere by eruptions and contribute to their formation. Scientists at the time assumed the clouds were another manifestation of volcanic ash, but after the ash had settled out of the atmosphere, the noctilucent clouds persisted. Finally, the theory that the clouds were composed of volcanic dust was disproved by Malzev in 1926. In the years following their discovery the clouds were studied extensively by Otto Jesse of Germany, who was the first to photograph them, in 1887, and seems to have been the one to coin the term "noctilucent cloud", which means "night-shining cloud". His notes provide evidence that noctilucent clouds first appeared in 1885. He had been doing detailed observations of the unusual sunsets caused by the Krakatoa eruption the previous year and firmly believed that, if the clouds had been visible then, he would undoubtedly have noticed them.

keep in mind what your are looking at here is a graphic image of a freq. which leads me back to all those so called new age videos.

if you look into how the sun and cosmic energies effecting earths atmosphere freq's are very important.

going over the Themis data i see large and quick spikes over the last several days.

we also seem to be having a lot of GRB's of late.

i would think with a lack of solar activity and more GRB's earth would be getting hit by more energy from those GRB's.

I would like a different excuse other than atmospheric lensing, failing atmosphere ozone ect.

It is checked constantly by many, theres nothing to report. The sun has died earthside and so we're looking into possibilities and some of these involve other theories. I guess we could post flatlined xray flux and the occassional B and small C flare, which we do. Many are looking for answers which aren't being given by our shitty govt.

Check out the stratospheric yen and yang vortex. This is from Luis' thread and this is massive. The US may get 'crazy' weather in 10 to 14 days. Something is crazy wrong with our weather, aye Cesium!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have for countless days on end, go check several hundred pages back. We started talking about this issue way before SO did. We've exhausted many avenues and its all become somewhat regurgitated and we're waiting for new evidence or some answers, which probably won't come from any agency. I'm tired of hearing myself talk about it!

Not to mention some insurance companies don't cover named storms. These large companies are almost at a breaking point. These massive billion dollar storms we keep having are running them dry. I have a very close relative thats a property and casualty adjuster for the state and they are saying one more year like the last and over 60% of these large agencies will go under or refuse payouts due to incredulous conditions. People really have no idea how bad certain situations are. we are tettering on the edge in many , many ways

Please, would you please humor me and watch these two videos? This man is giving an explanation as to why the sun is now quiet. Date of video is December 15th, by my eyes it is just as the sunspots started sleeping as they became earth-facing. The explanation is quite unorthodox to say the least but given this perplexing situation maybe it is worth a listen?

The first video - watch from 1:40 to at least 4:00. A little over two minutes of your time, at least for entertainment purposes.

The second video says that this orb appeared a day late. Can anyone confirm the orb being there on December 18th as depicted in the video? That's really what I'm interested in knowing. Everyone else can conclude what they like from this.
