Sunspot patterns seem to mimic or mirror one another at 2 O clock and 8 O clock.

earth is moving into the same spot where we saw a lot of activity last year......
remember the end of january 2012...
when the sol took us for a ride and gave us a wicked show for a few months....
this year will be wicked awesome....

Good detective work, Psy,. and thanks for that link. This rules out the tracking changeover being the source of the data-burp @15:30z. The chart shows a downlink to WCDA began at 13:00z on both days and lasted past 16:00z on Jan. 5th and 21:00z on Jan. 6th. I think NINzrez should call Cal Tech first thing in the morning and get to the bottom of this, LOL.

WASHINGTON – It was in January 1994 that two Canadian telecommunications satellites blanked out during a major sunburst while in geosynchronous orbit and communications were disrupted nationwide.
While recovery occurred after only a few hours on the first satellite, it took some six months and more than $70 million to recover the second satellite.
Then in January 2005, some 26 United Airlines flights had to be diverted during a space weather storm to non-polar routes – to avoid the prospect of high frequency radio blackouts.
Added were landings and takeoffs, flight time and other factors that elevated fuel consumption and costs. Each route change ended up costing more than $100,000.
Then in February 2011, there was a sun eruption experts described as the largest solar flare in four years. It caused interference in radio communications and global positioning system signals for aircraft traveling long-distances.
While it was a modest outburst, experts say it signaled the beginning of an upcoming solar storm.
The National Aeronautical and Space Administration along with the National Academy of Sciences is predicting that the Earth could be subjected to a solar storm maximum as part of the sun’s 11-year cycle.
If there is a direct hit, these agencies say that the impact could be catastrophic.
They say, brace yourself, it could cost upwards of $2 trillion in the first two years, affecting some 160 million people and could take anywhere from four to 10 years to recover.
“The sun has an activity cycle, much like hurricane season,” said Tom Bogdan, director of the Space Weather Prediction Center in Boulder, Colo. “It’s been hibernating for four or five years, not doing much of anything.”

GALACTIC UNDERSTANDING IS UP-ENDED! (not again)

SURPRISE, GIANT PANCAKE STRUCTURE FOUND NEAR ANDROMEDA GALAXY!!

The study reveals almost 30 dwarf galaxies orbiting the larger Andromeda galaxy in this regular, solar system-like plane. The astronomers' expectations were that these smaller galaxies should be buzzing around randomly, like bees around a hive.

"This was completely unexpected," said Geraint Lewis, one of the lead authors on the Nature publication. "The chance of this happening randomly is next to nothing." The fact that astronomers now see that a majority of these little systems in fact contrive to map out an immensely large - approximately one million light years across - but extremely flattened structure, implies that this understanding is grossly incorrect.

Good addition DF, and then combine that with Psy's (I think) video about no two electrons can inhabit the same space at the same time, so that when one jumps valence shells, every other electron in the multiverse must shift, it gets pretty exciting.

ISis One, I hope you checked out their MISSION pages and other info about Gamma Ray Bursts. That's the main SWIFT objectives at Penn State. I actually thought of your interest in GRBs when I posted this.

We live in a fractal universe, I think someone is just cranking up the volume on our little solar system right now.

Thanks Hugh, that's very thoughtful of you, I will check those out now. I've been looking into UVB, viruses and vitamin D, why so many are being prescribed Vitamin D as if the sun we expose ourselves to isn't doing enough for us to make the Vitamin D anymore. Would seem we are not getting enough UVB. So wondering why.

Hugh, I read the astro article above however, its about 10 years old. Do you know where I could find the same kind of article about GRB's but more recent, or hasn't there been much change in the research? To me, it seems like the GRB is the "soul" of the star that escapes before it gets sucked into the black hole after collapse or collision. These collapses/collisions seem to occur at the outermost realms of the cosmos. There are pretty sure (ten years ago) that GRB's were not from outside the cosmos but I wonder if they still think that.

Found this on the smilies thread and it seemed fitting after reading all about GRB's and their origins, and how fast they travel.
