I have no doubt in my mind that solar activity had a lot to do with the Blizzards around my area in early 2010 (weak cycle). |

Region 1654 is currently classified as an Eki Beta group and is the largest region on the disk. SDO magnetogram and intensitygram imagery suggest magnetic complexity emerging in the intermediate spots of this region but more data is needed to be able to ascertain the severity of these changes. (Though,I jest)  The real question is whether 1654 will follow the many, many other sunspots and start to decay as it gets closer to facing us?
