noaa catches up

.24 hr Summary...
Solar activity has been at moderate levels for the past 24 hours. The
largest event of the period was an M1 x-ray flare at 11/0911 UTC from
Region 1654 (N08E33). Multiple discrete radio frequencies bursts, as
well as TYPE II (est. Shock speed of 537 km/s) and TYPE IV radio sweeps
were associated with this event, suggesting a the presence of a CME.
LASCO C2 and C3 imagery as well as STEREO Ahead and Behind Cor2 imagery
have yet to indicate any associated CME; we are waiting for the missing
imagery to fill in. Region 1654 is currently the largest and most
threatening sunspot group on the disk, with an area around 750
millionths and magnetically classified as a Beta-Gamma-Delta
