Flare from the northern edge: [ link to halpha.nso.edu] I don't recall tracking flares from different regions within one AR like this. I think we're seeing more magnetic instability. Let's see if 1652 responds. With all these delta spots .... why not ??? Each one is capable in it's own accord I would think. I think we are used to maybe one or two in an AR, but if you look at this AR, there are many.
