Kind of, probably, a combination of all those. I think the prophesies of mass destruction arose at a time when it was not considered possible that we might begin waking up on our own and it would take major SHTF to do it. The internet has helped. Its like one person with a lit candle can light all the candles of the people around them and never lose anything in the process....win-win!! Gotta think win-win, imagine it to manifest it. We know scientifically how much influence thoughts hold in relation to matter.
