Yes  One just has a faster trajectory than the other. thanks, yeh i just seen noaa hugh posted (ty!) as not major issue -ive not been a watcher long enough to know regularities etc. wondered what the effects on magnetosphere by one cme followed by another (with present magnetic feild) might be. : ) You can guesstmate, but no one really knows until it hits the satellites, about 20 +/- minutes before impact on Earth depending how fast the CME is coming in. Enlil is predicting a moderate plasma density impact, but they like to sugar coat most data IMHO  [ link to www.solarham.net] How did I post under Tink's name ???
