Quoting: #Geomagnetic_Storm# Hello GM,yes SS and Flare wise it is for sure. Though there was a Filament in the Mid-North of the disc that ejected not too long ago [ link to halpha.nso.edu] it is quite faint but still there. With regard Solar events and Sunspots, according to this plot [ link to www.sidc.oma.be] of Sunspot Number and CMEs' there appears to be little difference in the output of CMEs' compared to the relative amount of Sunspots from the last Cycle. Quoting: Spittin'Cesium Was there a CME with the mid disk filament eruption?
