Earth may be sandwiched between the two CMEs produced by the filament eruptions on the 23rd. SOHO's pick-of-the-week movie shows both CMEs:

NOAA Solar Wind Forecast...
Solar wind speed is expected to be elevated on days 1-2 (26-27 Jan) as a
coronal hole high speed stream becomes geoeffective along with a
possible glancing blow from the 23 January CME. Solar wind speeds are
expected to gradually return to nominal levels by 28 January.
